Bipolar Disorder is a complex problem and many people with bipolar disorder have other difficulties which are highly relevant to the treatment of their problem.

To attempt to treat a problem in isolation from those which go along with it is usually a mistake.

In this section we deal with some of the problems which ‘go along’ with bipolar disorder including

  • Suicidality and Self Harm
  • Substance Misuse
  • Other ‘Co-morbidities’ other mental and physical health problems that present at the same time.
