First Bipolar In-touch Network Research Projects to start in new year

In the next few months we will be contacting members of the Bipolar In-Touch Network to help in the development of a new scale which specifically for identification and communication with professionals about side effects arising during the treatment of bipolar disorder. There will also be a version for use in studies of new medicines.

Two colleagues from international firm Deloitte decided to climb Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at 5,895 meters (19,340 ft) to raise awareness of bipolar disorder and support our work. Also, Rachel Davis decided to run the Snowdonia Marathon around one of the highest mountains in the UK for the same reasons.
